The scope for the project at Phillips Academy consisted of rehabbing the two existing lunchrooms, serving area, and kitchen. New serving lines were installed in the cafeteria as well as replacement of select kitchen equipment. During construction, fire damage to the existing wood joists in the main lunchroom was discovered. A structural engineer was hired to provide details to reinforce the damaged joists.
